In 2003, due to lack of adequate information, especially among young people about HIV and AIDS , the association cidadãos do Mundo / Bué Fixe - Youth NGO Amandora in Portugal , has launched a project to S. Tomé and Principe ( Africa ) with the name Ox FIXE . With the same name is created a youth magazine in digital format and hard copy, for the exchange of experiences related to the spread HIV / AIDS. Later, the organization has also created a radio program aimed at young migrants from Portuguese-speaking countries in Africa, where issues such as the environment, human rights, youth participation and prevention of HIV / AIDS , access to care, which are themes deeply felt. Along this route, the program has used the media to promote appropriate strategies for prevention of HIV / AIDS .
