Coding is Social

The Istituto comprensivo Ponte sul Marecchia, from the Province of Rimini, will participate in the 8th edition of the Global Junior Challenge with Project Hello Scratch, coordinated by Professor Stefania Altieri.

The project has been developed on the e-twinning platform to stimulate creativity and computational thinking in children both in terms of story-telling and mathematics.

Tools used to develop the project include documents shared on Twin Space, Google Drive and Dropbox, to the creation of algorithms and coding exercises with Scratch. Padlet and the cloud were used to document activities and share photos, together with the e-twinning platform. Skype and Hangouts were used to communicate during project activities.
