Arduino and the Ballerina

The 8th edition of the Global Junior Challenge will welcome Project "Arduino and the Ballerina" in the “up to 10 years old” category. Coordinated by Prof. Angela Gatti at the Secondo Istituto comprensivo in Francavilla Fontana (FR), the project develops a range of competences in various subject areas.

The interdisciplinary project revolves around the art of narration, storytelling, across a range of media, coding and the Arduino chipset.

The students learned to code on Arduino with mBlok to bring life to their protagonist, a ballerina. The screenplay, the music, and the video have been produced by the students through cooperative learning, peer to peer and learning by doing. The objective of the project is to develop skills related to electronics and coding, side by side with traditional competences.
