”Small artists” it is first part of a series of 3 blogs class blog who whant to show to student's parents their first steps in ”the wonderful world of school”.

Project Summary (max. 2000 characters): 

The blog was created in order to create a bridge between school and parents. On the blog are the activities made with the students who starting when they have only 6-7 years old during the first grade and its continuation by other 2 blogs for second and third grade. I switched from simple interagency activities, knowledge and communication such as firs prom and I continued with the Digital Story Telling, educational projects, parties, performances, educational activities and the promotion of talented children, finally rewarded with prizes. I think that our work can be an exemple of good practice.

The evaluation indices was: the good results, the parental satisfaction, the relationship established between children at the end of school year and the students courage to speak in public in the framework of the festivities and the continuity in time due to the positive feedback received from students and parents.

We have 23-27 students and at least 46-54 parents who interact with our blogs monthly by comments, live feedback, sharing small movies, slide shows and photos with friends and families.

What lessons can others learn from your project? (max. 1500 characters): 

My activities from the blogs are a form of creative communication who aims expression in an original manner and facilitates better understanding of the message. A creative community primarily means to think creatively. Whether it is in relationships with colleagues or in family contexts, the quality of communication with others depends on the quality of thought. The teacher is the artist that shape and stimulates creative thinking child it depends on the children’s development. The contemporary education must be adapted to the age of children to stimulate their interest and to achieve goals. In my opinion, this means the combination of some elements of the game, good cheer, with useful information about the life and activities of children everywhere. When students learn differently, become more creative, more motivated, aware that they can claim their work, they can cooperate with others that have different learning opportunities in new contexts.

Maybe we have problems but it is important to determinate the influence of communication on the development of creative educational environment and we must think how to do a positive influence to the development of students skills when use the creative communication in different situations.
Future plans and wish list (max. 750 characters): 
I can say that I noticed that both exercises and character creator games used in school and extracurricular activities, stimulate the creative potential of children. I appreciated the original responses, spontaneity, free expression of their opinions. We felt that if we remain indifferent conduct participatory and creative as is inhibits demoralize the child, decreasing the flexibility and originality. Positive feedback throughout the activities, determined affective states balms, and mobilization of subjects in solving tasks. From this experience I noticed that small students has creative potential that integrates cognitive experience, operational and informational mechanisms triggered and sustained by the necessities of knowledge, self-expression, independence, cognitive attitude begins to crystallize and I will continue with a new blog for fourth grade.

Video and teaching guides portal of interactive K12 education based on storytelling using ICT.

Project Summary (max. 2000 characters): 

This project presents best educational practices from the real classroom to the general community using video portal. In this way other teachers can learn novel techniques, parents can use this educational materials to learn together with their children, and pupils can prove that learning can be so much fun.

The best educational practices show how interactive techniques and storytelling in combination with free materials and ICT can create engaging learning environment applicable in different classrooms.

Showing How to combine technology with other teaching tools in work with little students.

The idea was born by me, Vesela Bogdanovic. I wanted to show that good educational practices and ICT are applicable to children in rural area at the same level (if not even better) as to the children that live in the urban area.

Objectives and Innovative Aspects

This project offer solutions, techniques, and methods that describe how to use creative ideas and deploy them using interdisciplinary activities, free materials and ICT in order to establish cross discipline education of small children. Using video portals, we show true examples of our educational practice, explain how to accomplish quality and successful interaction between the teacher and the pupils and the pupils with one another.
Our examples represent proven, healthy, successful ways of combining technology with all other educational methods, teaching tools and techniques- We proved that children using ICT can bring wonderful effects in terms of achieving goals in all school subjects.

We proved that even small children can collaborate, explore, create and direct the educational process. They can create even though they can’t read and write.
We are here not only to encourage teachers to collaborate, exchange materials and ideas, accept and adjust to the contemporary trends, but also
to give parents a chance have an insight in the work of their children through video recordings of their activities.

Thanks to the Internet even younger children (3-5) that live in rural areas where’s no kindergartens can learn with their parents from home. Children in hospitals can see our educational materials and learn.

- The project has been presented over 20 times on Macedonian National Television and NEWS, and over 50 times on newspapers in country and other countries.. still going on - The project has been supported by the ministry of Education, Prime Minister and President of R.Macedonia…… - The project leader has been selected as one of the top 50 candidate for Global teacher prize - First State Prize of PEP and UDAID Film Festival in Skopje movie - HOW CHILDREN MAKE A BIRD'S NEST - First Prize in the National Competition for the film -Macedoine pays de mes reves- Macedonia and second prize in the same competition for the website . -First - place at international education film festival in Serbia, Mionica - - Presenting on the International event Kreative School- in Banja Vrujci – Serbia since 2011 to today - Presentation on the International Conference of Educators in Sarajevo in 2013 and 2014 at the invitation of the Foundation for cultural and educational initiatives Steb By Step - Macedonian Microsoft Ekspert 2014 – Presenting Macedonia at Global Forum Braselona - Teacher mentor and trainer for other tecahers in our country supported by USAID and Ministry of edycation

Every day i cooperate with many teachers, parents and students. I cooperate through social networks with near 9000 teachers from my country, Serbia, Bosnia, Croatia, Germany....
How I use social media:
Facebook, my web pages and blogs to share activities with the world
-WindowsLive Mail, Gmail exchange of materials and collaboration with colleagues
-Skype the implementation of online classes with other students and colleagues in remote locations.
-Google + Hengout for online classes available to the widest audience
(There are many preschool children who are living in villages where there are no kindergartens and I think if they follow our activities on the Internet they could learn together with )
We present how to combine technology and other teaching techniques and methods in classroom so that school is more pleasant and more magical.This is an encyclopedia of fun and educational content.

The project so far is done or strictly voluntary basis. Although the project is supported by all relevant national educational policy makers, and general community, and the project do not need significant funding, its continuation is really directly related with the enthusiasm of its main contributor. In order for project to grow, and wider its impact it has to be financial self-sustainable. For that purpose initial funding for developing facilities which will bring possibility for commercialization of some services offered by the project is needed. Another possibility is to further develop this project in a for of TV broadcast that can have income from commercials
Future plans and wish list (max. 750 characters): 
The project can grow in two directions: The first one is building of the rural facility that can accommodate pupils from different schools (for certain fee) which will enable them to learn and interact with each other during the schools excursions. The second one is to produce the education TV program and share part of he commercial income.
